1.1  Responding the meaning in transactional conversation (to get things   done) and interpersonal formal and informal accurately, fluently, and acceptable that involves speech: expressing feeling “giving and asking opinion, satisfaction and dissatisfaction.”

-          The teacher shows a letter of invitation to the students.
-          The teacher asks the students’opinions about the letter of invitation to appear their prior knowledge.

-          The teacher writes the new topic which is “Expressions to Invite Someone” on the blackboard.
-          The teacher explains about the expressions to invite someone to the students.

-          The teacher reads a dialogue and asks the students to read the dialogue after him.
-          The teacher divides the students into big groups and asks the students to read the dialogue.

-          The students do the assignment that had given by the teacher in their groups, and the teacher monitors the class.
-          The teacher asks the students in each group to read their answers about the assignment.

Situation: Caesar invites Maureen, his cousin, to come to his birthday party at a cafe.
Caesar             : Hello, can I speak to Maureen, please?
Maureen          : Yes, this is Maureen speaking.
Caesar             : Hi, Maureen. How are you?
Maureen          : Just fine, thanks.
Caesar             : Say, are you doing anything tomorrow night?
Maureen          : No, I am free tomorrow night.
Caesar             : Great! Would you like to come to my birthday party at Vanessa’s    
                          Cafe?
Maureen          : With pleasure. What time will it be?
Caesar             : We’ll have the party at 07.00 p.m. shall I pick you up?
Maureen          : That would be nice.
Caesar             : Okay, I’ll pick you at your house at 6.30. Is it okay?
Maureen          : That’s fine.
Caesar             : well, see you on Saturday night at 6.30. Bye.
